Notizen I didn't expect the pleats on the neckline when I started this. So I changed them to a dart at the side-bust. I serged all edges before sewing anything together, I understitched the facing, and tacked the facing to the shoulder seams. The dress wasn't difficult to sew once I figured out how the sleeves were supposed to be placed.
In hindsight: the shoulders are a bit on the large side (that's all on me, since I didn't make a mock-up). The fabric is a printed crepe georgette that's slightly see through, but my grandmother prefers to wear a slip dress under it instead of me adding a lining.
I'm satisfied and my grandmother loves the dress.
