Notes I made this shirt in a soft lightweight linen with a textured weave, which worked well.

I've always found this type of placket quite tricky to do neatly and this time was no exception. You can't see it unless you look closely, but there was quite a lot of fudging going on.

I made no changes to the pattern, but if I make it again I might take it in a bit under the bust. My figure just looks better if my clothes have a bit of shaping there.

It's a decent, if unexciting shirt that will do nicely for the office.

I myself also look at tutorials like Jane says on YouTube to get something clear. Your blouse turned out nice.

This is great, I love the fabric and the covered buttons are the perfect finishing feature. I also think the fit looks good, a relaxed shape that suits the curved upper front.
    A lovely shirt!

I really like this linen cut.

It looks like it turned out great! If you struggle with plackets, maybe you can get some help from a youtube video. There are several out there on the topic. Every garment doesn't have to be exciting. Sometimes you need something simple to dress up with a scarf or some jewelry. I have this pattern but have not made it up, yet. It looks a little shorter than I would like it. I find this to be true of most Lekala patterns.
